I placed an order but I haven’t gotten a shipping notification yet. When will my item ship?
Many East to Opal products are made to order, meaning there will be a lead time before shipping the product after it is purchased. This time frame may vary from 5 to 14 business days.
I purchased a custom order spot. When will my order be completed?
Custom orders are typically shipped within 8 weeks of purchase. You will receive an email within 48 hours of purchasing your custom spot to discuss your preferences and ideas.
I lost the hardware to my handhug clutch. Can I ship it back to you to have it repaired?
If you would like me to repair your clutch or replace the hardware, I can certainly do that! All shipping costs will be your responsibility, and I will send you an invoice for the cost of the hardware that needs replaced. Please find all information on refunds and handhug repairs here. If you would like to purchase replacement hardware to fix your clutch yourself, you can do so here.
Is your shipping packaging sustainable?
I have tried very hard to keep all of our shipping supplies sustainable. All product is shipped in recyclable kraft boxes or mailers. We use 100% natural, biodegradable undyed aspen excelsior as filler, and recyclable kraft paper or 100% cotton muslin to wrap your product.
Shipping seems so expensive! Why are the costs so high?
Shipping costs have more than tripled in the past 2 years. When we started East to Opal, it only cost about $3-$5 USD to ship a small package of earrings or jewelry. The same package now costs about $12 USD to ship, and we are actually taking a hit on most orders by absorbing a portion of your shipping costs. Please know that if shipping costs do stabilize, we will adjust our shipping costs accordingly.
